A misaligned spinal column exercises constant pressure on sinews and muscles which hardens them over time. In the therapy, however, extremely sensitive pressure is exerted on the sinews for only fractions of a second. Sinews are elastic by nature and tolerate this kind of treatment without any problems over longer periods of time.
